Transport in Korea

The best route is not always the fastest route. Luggage, transfers, operating hours and the final walk to your hotel often matter more than a few minutes on paper.

From Incheon Airport: choose by situation

Do this before boarding

1. Confirm your terminal and arrival time.
2. Save the hotel name, Korean address and phone number.
3. Check whether your route requires stairs or a long outdoor walk.
4. Look up the last train or bus if arriving in the evening.
5. Keep a backup plan in case of delay.

Seoul Station is a hub, not always the final answer

Arriving at Seoul Station may still leave a subway transfer, taxi ride or difficult walk with luggage. Compare the complete door-to-door route before selecting an airport train solely because it appears fast.

Getting around after check-in

For most visitors, subway and buses cover daily travel well. Keep your route app open until the correct exit, because large stations can have exits several blocks apart. For taxis, show the destination in Korean and confirm that the pin matches the intended entrance.
