Transport in Korea
Start here: use the subway or city bus for ordinary urban trips, T-money for the simplest pay-as-you-go setup, and KTX or an intercity bus for travel between cities. Airport arrivals, late-night journeys and luggage can change the best choice, so choose the complete door-to-door route—not only the fastest vehicle.

Ride the Seoul subway and city buses

Compare the final transfer and walk to the hotel before choosing AREX, an airport bus or a taxi. A route that ends at Seoul Station is not necessarily door to door.

Keep a late-night taxi or bus backup

Book KTX or an intercity bus

- Avoid confusing Seoul, Yongsan, Gwangmyeong, Gyeongju and other Korean stations.
