You found the coffee pouch—but where is the cup, and is the ice free? For Korean pouch coffee, choose a ready-to-drink pouch and a suitable sealed ice cup, take both to checkout, then open and pour after paying. Check the combined price before opening either item. Here is the picture-by-picture method, including how to avoid sweet coffee you did not want and a cup that overflows.

Choose the drink before taking an ice cup
A pouch is the soft packet containing the drink; the ice cup is a separate container of ice. Do not mistake the pouch for instant coffee powder. This guide covers ready-to-drink liquid pouches intended for pouring over ice, not concentrates or coffee made by a store machine.
CU calls its pouch-drink range Delaffe. Its range is not limited to coffee, so a colorful pouch may be tea or another drink. Look at the product name before picking a flavor. A similar pouch shape does not mean identical ingredients or sweetness.

Use these words to narrow the choice, then read the actual label. If avoiding an ingredient is important, translate the ingredient panel rather than trusting the front illustration. For a first try, one small drink is easier to manage than several flavors or a large pouch.
Steps 1–2: match the sizes and pay for both
1. Pick a pouch and a suitable ice cup. Find the sealed cups in the store’s ice freezer or ask staff where they are. Do not take an empty machine-coffee cup and assume it is the right container. Store layouts differ, so looking beside the pouches is only a starting point.
Compare the pouch volume with the recommended cup size. Ice already occupies space: the cup’s stated capacity is not all available for coffee. Large pouches may need a larger cup or more than one serving. If the pairing is unclear, show staff both items before paying.
2. Bring both unopened items to checkout. Treat the cup as chargeable unless the current offer explicitly includes it. A promotion on the pouch does not automatically make every ice-cup size free. Check the total while you can still change the purchase.
For context, BGF Retail’s March 2026 release announcement described selected Delaffe pouches and an approximate combined price with cup ice. That is a dated product announcement, not a guaranteed price for your branch, flavor or cup size today.

Step 3: open the cup, then the pouch
After checkout, find a stable preparation surface without blocking the cashier or another customer. Put the ice cup down upright. If it has a removable outer lid, lift that off first; then peel away the protective seal using its tab. Keep the ice inside the cup.
Next, hold the pouch upright and find the marked opening or tear notch. Tear carefully along the indicated direction without squeezing the liquid upward. The picture shows a corner-opening example; your pack may open differently. Keep the torn piece with the empty wrapper.
If the seal will not lift or the pouch will not tear cleanly, stop and ask for help. Do not bite the packaging or stab it with a pen. Keeping the cup on the counter leaves you free to control the pouch instead of juggling both containers.
Steps 4–5: pour slowly and finish your drink
4. Pour through the opened corner. Keep the opening close enough to aim into the cup, without touching the rim. Tip gradually and watch the level as the ice moves. Stop with space below the rim; you do not have to empty a large pouch into one cup.
The manufacturer BioPort Korea describes serving Delaffe Black Americano in a dedicated ice cup. For the ready-to-drink format covered here, do not add hot water as though it were an instant-coffee sachet. Use the serving directions on the product.
5. Finish before moving away. If a matching drinking lid is provided, fit it securely; do not force on a different size. Ask where the appropriate lid or straw is if you need one. A sip lid and a straw are alternatives, not items you must always use together.
Collect the pouch, seal and other packaging, then follow that store’s disposal labels. Do not pour leftover drink or ice into a dry rubbish bin. Ask where liquids belong if there is no clear sign, and wipe up any splash you made.
