Editorial Policy
Our priority is to help an international visitor make a safer, clearer and more practical travel decision.
Research and sourcing
For time-sensitive facts, we prefer primary sources such as airports, railway and bus operators, government agencies, venues, brands and booking providers. Secondary sources may be used for context, but they do not replace an official source when a transaction or rule is involved.
First-hand experience
When a guide includes a route we traveled, a store we visited or a product we used, we identify that experience and the approximate date. We do not describe a product or place as personally tested when it was not.
Time-sensitive information
Schedules, prices, inventory, promotions, tax-refund rules, visa or entry requirements and booking terms can change. Relevant guides will display a checked or updated date and direct readers to confirm critical details with the responsible provider.
Reviews and recommendations
A recommendation explains who it may suit, the trade-offs considered and any material limitation. Popularity alone is not treated as proof that a product, hotel or route is right for every traveler.
Commercial independence
Sponsorships, gifted products and affiliate links will be disclosed. Payment does not purchase a positive conclusion. We aim to keep editorial content more prominent than advertising or promotional material.
AI assistance
Tools may assist with organization, translation, formatting or quality checks. Material facts and recommendations remain subject to human review before publication.
